High Alumina Brick

High alumina bricks, composed primarily of alumina (Al2O3), are used in various zones of waste incineration furnaces. They provide good thermal resistance and chemical stability. High alumina bricks are commonly used in the combustion chamber, where the waste is burned, and in areas exposed to high temperatures and corrosive gases.

Silicon Carbide Brick

Silicon carbide bricks have excellent thermal conductivity and resistance to thermal shock. They are used in specific areas of waste incineration furnaces where extreme temperatures and severe conditions are encountered, such as the combustion zone.

Chrome-Magnesia Brick

Chrome-magnesia bricks, made from a combination of magnesia and chrome ore, offer high-temperature resistance and excellent corrosion resistance to acidic gases generated during waste incineration. They are commonly used in the lower sections of waste incineration furnaces.

Insulating Brick

Insulating bricks are lightweight and have low thermal conductivity. They are used in the outer lining or insulation layers of waste incineration furnaces to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency. Lightweight fireclay, vermiculite, or perlite-based insulating bricks are commonly used.

Refractory Castables for Waste Incineration Furnace

Refractory castable is unshaped refractory material that doesn’t need firing and features fluidness after adding water. Refractory castable has the characteristics of good wear resistance, high thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance, good corrosion resistance, good sealing performance, and good high-temperature strength. Therefore, it is widely used in waste incineration furnaces construction and maintenance to ensure the furnace quality and extend service life. The refractory castables used in waste incineration furnaces mainly include followings.

Low Cement Castable

Low cement castables contain a lower amount of calcium aluminate cement compared to conventional castables. They exhibit superior mechanical strength, high temperature resistance, and reduced water requirement for installation. Low cement castables are suitable for areas of the incineration furnace exposed to severe thermal and chemical stresses.

High Alumina Castable

High alumina castables are made from high-alumina aggregates and binders. They offer excellent thermal shock resistance, high temperature stability, and resistance to chemical attacks from acidic gases generated during the incineration process.

Silicon Carbide Castable

Silicon carbide castables are composed of silicon carbide grains and binders. They have excellent thermal conductivity, high temperature strength, and resistance to thermal shock. Silicon carbide castables are commonly used in areas of the waste incineration furnace subjected to high temperatures and corrosive environments.

Mullite Castable

Mullite castables are made from mullite aggregates and binders. They offer good thermal shock resistance and thermal insulation properties. Mullite castables are suitable for the hot face lining of the waste incineration furnace, providing effective heat containment and reducing heat loss.

Insulating Castable

Insulating castables are lightweight and have low thermal conductivity. They are used as an insulating layer in the lining of waste incineration furnaces to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency. Insulating castables can be made from materials such as lightweight aggregates, vermiculite, or perlite.
