Tube Furnace in Petroleum Industry

Tube furnace is a direct furnace heating equipment, mainly for heating liquid or gas chemical raw materials, and is a essential device for the petrochemical industry. It works at a temperature of up to 1100 ℃. Light Fire brick and light refractory castable can be selected for tube heating furnace.

Catalytic Cracking Unit in Petroleum Industry

The catalytic cracking unit is an important equipment in the petroleum boiling ratio and cracking process. It works at a temperature of 500~600 ℃, sometimes up to 800 ℃. Petroleum gas contains H2S and some solid particles, which can cause chemical erosion and wear damage to the furnace lining. Furnace lining is composed of lightweight insulation layer and wear-resistant layer. High alumina castables material, plastic refractories or refractory ramming material ramming material are selected for the wear-resistant layer.

Furnaces in Chemical Industry

There are various types of chemical industrial furnaces with rigorous using conditions. They work under high temperature and atmospheric pressure, and directly contact with gases such as H2, CO, CH4, etc. Therefore, low silicon high-purity corundum bricks and corundum refractory castables are selected for lining material of the furnace. The thermal equipment used in the chemical industry mainly includes synthetic ammonia unit, electric furnaces for phosphate fertilizer production, and electric furnaces for calcium carbide production, etc.

Synthetic Ammonia Unit in Chemical Industry

The synthetic ammonia unit is important for producing fertilizers, include many thermal equipments such as primary and secondary reformers, shift converter, regenerators and combustion chambers. It works at a temperature of 400~1500 ℃.

Electric Furnace for Phosphate Fertilizer Production

The electric furnace lining needs high-performance refractory materials because of severe chemical erosion and worse working conditions. Molten phosphate fertilizer has characteristic of high alkalinity, low viscosity, easy flow, which can penetrate into the inside of refractory materials. Therefore, carbon bricks with high thermal conductivity should be selected as the working lining of the molten bath. The non working lining and upper space of furnace are generally constructed with clay bricks with refractoriness of 1710~1730 ℃.
